The 5th Asia-pacific Tea Competition was held in Beijing
On November 7th, the 5th Asia-pacific Tea Competition was held in Beijing.
This competition is organized by the Tea Industry Committee of China Association for the Promotion of International Agricultural Cooperation, Embassy of Sri Lanka in Beijing, National Tea and Coffee Development Board of Nepal, Tea Research Institute of Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization, Malaysia Tea Association, District Cooperative Federation Ltd. Gulmi of Nepal, Australian Tea Masters Association, ITA Tea & Infusion of Italy, Vietnam Tea Association, Korea Black Tea Association, Danish Tea Association, European Special Tea Association, Tea Association of Taiwan, hosted by the organizing committee of China(Beijing) Tea and Tea Ceremony Exhibition.
The tea judges are experienced and famous in China, including Mr. Yu Guan Ting, a famous tea expert, Mr. Lu Chengyin, deputy director of Tea Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Mr. Feng Huaisong, the standing deputy director of Tea Industry Committee of China Association for the Promotion of International Agricultural Cooperation, Mr. Lv Xianjun, National Senior Tea Appraiser of China, Ms Shen Hong, National First-grade Tea Appraiser of China.
There is 362 tea samples attending the competition. The winning list will be announced on November 20th on the 12th Beijing Tea Expo.
