ASEAN Tea Organisation (ATO) Virtual Tea Tourism Series 2.0-Amazing Tea Tourism in Indonesia will be held on September 24th of 2020, which is organized by ASEAN Tea Organization, presented by Indonesia Tea Association, supported by Malaysia Tea Association, Vietnam Tea Association, Tea and Chinese Cultural Appreciation Society of Thailand, Singapore Tea Importers and Exporters Association. In Indonesia, total tea area nearly 114,000 ha and the plantations are found In North Sumatera, West Sumatera, South Sumatera, West Java, Central Java, East Java, South Sulawesi and small area In Bali. Tea plantation are chosen as tourist destination with fresh air and cool weather, no air pollution and free from the noise especially during weekend and holiday as the venue for family gathering, wedding party, outbound, conference, education among others to see tea harvesting and processing in factory are parts for tourist attraction.
 
During pandemic Covid-19 all tea touristic places are lockdown and some places are open to public as soon as restriction from the government is lifted.
